Jeff Eckert 6/20/1979 - 12/13/2009

This afternoon, Jeff made the transition to wherever it is beautiful people go when they die.

There are no words to describe the loss that will be felt by everyone who knew Jeff.
Jamie, you have been thru so much in your lifetime (JD too!). I am so glad that you are a strong person that seems to have a wonderful grasp on life. I am SO sorry for the the loss of Jeff. He fought a tough fight! This is not how I thought the Jamie and Jeff story would end, but at least he is in a better place where he no longer has to suffer. Now you have another angel to watch over and protect you and JD! You, and Jeff's entire family are in my thoughts today and the coming days! Take care strong one! Thanks for the Jamie and Jeff story it has truly made me live my life differently!

Jeff was the reason I started playing guitar. From all the nights down at the Ryan's camp, Jeff was always the life of the party. It is true that the good die young. Jeff will forever be in our memories and you and your family will always be in our prayers.

It's been years since I've seen Jeff or you, and I only recently found out that Jeff was sick. I'm sure you can't hear it enough, but I have only fond memories of Jeff from when we were in 7th and 8th grade together, and I'm pretty sure we were on the same Little League team together one summer. He was a great person, and my thoughts are with you, your family and his.
