Aside from occasional shingles-related pain, Jeff is feeling okay. His pneumonia has mostly resolved itself and the nausea he was feeling for the better part of last week has finally passed. His appetite is also making a comeback, and with any luck, he'll gain back a few of the pounds he lost before chemo starts again on Saturday. He is finally making some white blood cells, but his platelets and red blood are taking their good old time. Considering all of the chemo Jeff has received over the past two years, it is not a surprise that his marrow is taking a little longer to bounce back.

We are all so sorry to learn that Jeff's transplant was delayed, but with another week to prepare for this important day, we are all hoping and praying that everything will be perfect for Jeff when it is done. Please give him all of our love, Jamie. Also, hugs and kisses to precious little J.D.
Hope you are still able to get out to run while the weather is still so nice!
Love you all ~ Betsy
medler medler where are you?4
do you see that 4 up there...thats because...i am on hold with discover card right now and they told me to press 4 and i pressed it on the keyboard. silly me.
anywho, in regards to bone marrow taking its good ol' time...
apparently i take my good ol' time to get out of a car. but eventually i do indeed get out of the car. my point, you ask...i hope that jeff's bone marrow gets out of the car sooner than later!
ooooo....and on a more serious note...
I would like to remind the world that a great way to help Jeff, and many others, is to donate blood!
There are local drives every few weeks. get out there and give!
Enter meddler...
Yep, giving blood is simply a great way to give.
Danielle and I just gave a couple pints and I told the Red Cross to ship it straight to Hershey.
We want our Jeff to have the best!
